Dotch Barber & Styles are proud advocates of the Vivian’s Door Initiative started by Vivian’s Door a non-profit organization in Mobile, AL. The Vivian’s Door Initiative includes an innovative mobile app, business training, and business opportunity support and specialized outreach to minority and black entrepreneurs on the Gulf Coast.

 

The Vivian’s Door app created by program Director Janice Malone and her team will be the gateway to support minority and black-owned businesses. Evidence has shown that small businesses can change outcomes in under-served communities and the mission of Vivian’s Door is to help businesses grow, scale, and re-invest in their community.

 

The Vivian’s Door app is designed to be the technological means through which all parties interact real-time and freely share knowledge, and connections, and conduct business in an enjoyable and interactive way. It will provide business training and scholarship resources to minority entrepreneurs. It will also list things like:

 

•    Federal contractors, community resources, and corporate supplier diversity officials.

•    Minority businesses and their products and services.

•    Key business and corporate connections that can be used to grow businesses
